Toddler Art Table

So – the toddler in the house has been showing off some artistic promise eh? Well – perhaps it’s time to make an investment in your future Picasso. Some paints, some brushes, paper, crayons (make sure these are all age appropriate and safe for your child) – and a toddler art table!

And there is nothing that will inspire your blooming young artist more than a table of his/her own – one equipped with all the good stuff he or she will need to make use of his/her burgeoning talent. A toddler art table is a place where little Ms. or Mr. artist can go for some quiet, inspired and creative time – a place of their own.

Guidecraft makes a good down-to-basics toddle art table (with matching chair) for around $115. This hardwood, durable and smooth fine-wood-grain (with red or pink) table features a paper roll caddy and a child-friendly paper cutter (100’ of 12’ paper is included). Also – due to the extra-smooth surface this toddler art table is super easy to clean Your child will spend hours and hours of quiet and creative time at this reasonably priced unit. (This unit is age appropriate for children 2 and up.)

The Super Art Table and Paper Roll by Alex is a huge step up from Guidcraft’s more basic toddler art table. Besides the paper roll and cutter it has 3 storage “cups” for brushes, paints and crayons etc. Also – it comes with two benches and can support up to four children at a time. People who have bought this toddler art table have consistently given it 5-star ratings and rave reviews. This toddler art table can be purchased for just under $210 and is age appropriate for children 3 and up.

Jonti-craft makes a sensational art cart sort of deal called the “Creative Caddie” – complete with paper roll dispenser and ample storage bins on either side of the cart’s sizeable tabletop. The patented “Write-N-Wipe” adjustable surface is also a great feature. However, being that this table is just over two feet tall – I would not recommend this particular item for youngsters under four years of age. Also - the price is considerably higher than what might be appropriate to spend on a toddler art table for toddler age children - $299.

So if you are in the market for a toddler art table you are fortunate in that the choices are few – making the looking all that much less tedious and/or confusing. Just remember to shop wisely for the best deal possible online or off.
